Introducing Stanford Internal Medicine (SIM)

The Stanford Medical Group (SMG) and Stanford Internal Medicine Clinic (IMC) are combining to create a single clinical entity to enhance patient services; education of medicine residents and medical students; and operational efficiency.


Dr. Baldeep Singh, Clinical Professor of Medicine, will head the new service under the aegis of Dr. Mark Cullen, Clinical Professor of Medicine and Division Chief of General Internal Medicine.


Three clinic sites will be utilized for this new service:

• SIM - East - The previous Stanford Internal Medicine Clinic (IMC). Currently located in Bowell Clinic, First Floor, Room A175. On August 9, 2010, SIM - East will move to a newly remodeled location in the Blake Wilbur Clinic Building, Second Floor, Room W2080.


• SIM- Hoover - The previous SMG - Hoover Clinic. Location will continue in the current location at the Hoover Pavilion, Third Floor.


• SIM - West - The previous SMG - Blake Wilbur Clinic. Location will continue in the current location at the Blake Wilbur Clinic Building, Second Floor, Room W2080.

SIM Introduces Dr. Elizabeth Koehler

Stanford Internal Medicine welcomes Dr. Elizabeth Koehler to SIM-Hoover. Dr. Koehler completed her Chief Residency in Internal Medicine at Stanford Hospital and Clinics in June, 2010. We are happy to welcome her as a Clinician-Educator at SIM.


Dr. Koehler will have clinic at SIM-Hoover on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Please call our schedulers at 650/723-6028 to schedule an appointment.
